To all players and prospective players:

It's come to our attention that we've had a few issues regarding the cause of unnecessary drama in regards to the game, most especially with our most recent reserves round. As per our rules, we ask that players and potential players be respectful of one another. This was not the case in this particular instant, which is why we felt that we had to address it before something else occurred.

We do not monitor OOC activity, and with a game as big as Duplicity has gotten (thank you so much to everyone who's been part of that success!), it's impossible. We wouldn't want to stifle creativity or friendships in any way. However, when it crosses a line into bullying territory, this is something we do not tolerate. We'll be adding this to our rules page indefinitely, and any further instances of things like this will be cause for banning. As said before, we want everyone to have a good time and don't like using the B-word at all, but to create a safe game environment, sometimes it's necessary. This is also why we are leaving this post unlocked for now; we want everyone to read and understand what we're adding to our rules.

As mods, we hope this doesn't spoil the fun for anyone looking to app into Duplicity or are already in-game. Thanks for taking the time to come forward with these problems. Anyone can come to us regardless of the issue. We try to be as prompt as possible, and we are looking forward to the new app round!
